Creamy Mussels

Ingredients

  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter.
  • 1 onion, small, finely chopped.
  • 1 cup Nammilk Fresh Cream milk.
  • 450 grams half shell mussels.
  • Salt and black pepper to taste.
  • 1 lemon, juice and zest.
  • 1/2 cup dill to garnish.
  • Baguette bread.

Directions

  1. Melt the butter in a large skillet (with a lid).
  2. Suté the onion, garlic, and chili flakes until soft.
  3. Add the fresh cream and simmer for 2 – 3 minutes.
  4. Add the mussels and cover the skillet. Steam the mussels over low heat, until cooked – about 8 – 10 minutes.
  5. Remove from heat. Season to taste with salt and black pepper, stir through the lemon juice, finely grated zest and dill.
  6. Cut the baguette bread into angled slices, heat a pan with oil, and toast your baguette evenly until brown on both sides.
  7. 7. Dip into creamy sauce with mussels and enjoy.
