Chicken Pot Pie

This easy Chicken Pot Pie recipe is made with pure goodness from Nammilk’s artificial hormone-free milk products.

Ingredients

  • 2 teaspoons unsalted butter.
  • 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour.
  • 2 ½ cups frozen vegetable mix.
  • 2 cups chicken broth.
  • ½ cup Nammilk Fresh Cream.
  • 3 cups shredded, cooked chicken (from 1 rotisserie chicken/680g chicken breasts).
  • 2 teaspoons thyme.
  • ½ package frozen puff pastry, thawed (1 sheet).

Directions

  1. Preheat the oven to 215°C.
  2. Melt butter in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
  3. Stir in flour until smooth.
  4. Add vegetables, broth, Nammilk Fresh Cream, chicken, and thyme to the skillet. Stir well.
  5. Bring the mixture to a boil.
  6. Remove from heat and place a pastry sheet over the top of the skillet.
  7. Bake in preheated oven until golden brown and bubbling, about 18 minutes.
  8. Let it rest then serve and enjoy.
