Nammilk is proud to have supported Season 9 of the IYF Kids Mindset & Character Education Programme with 500ml cartons of Fresh Milk, contributing to nurturing confidence, character and life skills among young learners in Namibia.

‍

Hosted by the Mind Education Institute Namibia (MEI-Namibia), the Namibian entity of the International Youth Fellowship, the programme brings together primary school learners for a combination of mindset and character education, creative learning, team-building and physical activities.

‍

Now in its ninth season, IYF Kids is designed for children from Grade 1 to 7, with approximately 60–80 participants expected per intake. Through engaging lessons, stories, presentations and practical activities, the programme introduces children to important principles such as self-discipline, deep thinking, communication, creativity and resilience.

‍

The programme also incorporates a variety of activities including chess, robotics, etiquette, dance, martial arts, piano, music and arts as well as crafts, creating an environment where children can learn, explore their abilities and build meaningful social skills.

‍

As part of Nammilk’s support, 500ml cartons of Fresh Milk were provided to participants and the programme team over the past few weeks, helping to provide wholesome refreshments during the Saturday sessions.

‍

For Nammilk, partnerships such as this reflect the importance of supporting initiatives that contribute to the development and wellbeing of Namibia’s children. While education extends far beyond the classroom, programmes such as IYF Kids create valuable spaces where young people can develop the mindset, character and confidence needed to navigate the world around them.

‍

MEI-Namibia’s broader mission is raising the next generation of leaders through education, social service and international exchange. The organisation describes its vision around challenge, change and cohesion, with a focus on helping young people overcome limitations and discover new possibilities.

‍

The Season 9 programme reflects this approach through its focus on self-control, deep thinking and communication, while creating opportunities for children to learn through both structured education and recreation.

‍

Nammilk is pleased to have played a small part in supporting these young minds as they learn, grow and build the foundations for a brighter future.
